Are you living your dreams? Are you really living the life you want to live? I assume that most people these days would say no. With all the problems in the world today many people are finding it hard to live the life they believe they should be living. What if I was to tell you that you can live that life? What if I was to tell you that the only thing holding you back is you?

This is the truth. Many people today are living their dreams, because they have changed the way they look at their lives. Unfortunately far too many others have yet to understand that this is possible. All it takes is a belief in yourself and the faith that anything is possible if you are willing to work towards your dreams. What do the following companies all have in common: Hyatt Corp, Burger King, IHOP, FedEx, Microsoft, MTV, General Electric (GE), Sports Illustrated, Hewlett Packard (HP), and Wikipedia? All these companies were started during a recession.

The founders of all these companies had one thing in common. They all had the faith that they could succeed in a time when most businesses were failing. The same goes for you. You need to have the faith that you can live the life you were intended to live. Yes, I said intended to live. You have been given the opportunity to live out your dreams if you would just allow yourself to do it. Everything you have ever wanted in life is right before you if you would just reach for it. Yes, you are going to have to work for it, but it is obtainable. You just need to know this.

Too many people are sitting back and letting the world pass them by. Why? You need to start living. Each day you let pass by is a day that you have lost that will never return. If you want to travel, travel. If you want to open a business, open a business. The point is do something and don’t just sit there. I know times are tough, but so are you. God made you that way. He gave you the ability to do anything you want with your life. He did not create you just to sit around and do nothing. He wants you to do everything you have ever wanted. Stop wasting time.

I wasted many years of my life doing nothing. Don’t get me wrong, I accomplished a lot of my life long dreams, but there are so many others I also wanted to accomplish. There was a long stretch of my life though where I thought I could not do anything. I was cash strapped and had major life problems going on. That was until I had what I call a God Moment, a wake up call if you will from the Creator of all life itself. He showed me that I can be the person I always wanted to be. I could do all the things I have always wanted to do. I just needed to stop making excuses why I couldn’t. That was my problem, I always made excuses. I always found the negative in life and that held me back. He showed me that life is meant to be lived and that I needed to start now.

Since that time, I have been living the life I always dreamed of. I have written and published three books and my fourth will be out soon. I run seminars to help people get back on track with the help of finding their spirituality. I run web-sites and I volunteer. Am I financially where I would like to be? No, but I am on my way. It is not all about money. You do not have to be the richest person in the world to live a great life. I know people who are millionaires and they are not all the happiest people. Then again, I know millionaires who are living their dreams. Not all of them started out that way. One of them was homeless until he had his God Moment. Now he travels the world and lives the life he has always wanted. You can too. You can be and do whatever you want to in life.

Today is your day. Start right now. Do not wait. If you do you may never start. Let’s get the ball rolling right this very second. Start by making a list of what you want to do with your life. Places you want to go things you want to accomplish. Nothing is off limits. Here is an important key to success. Do not let others tell you that you can’t do something and do not tell yourself you can not do something. Whatever it is work towards it. It may not happen overnight, but start today anyway.
